About Jill Ciccone Pike
I am originally from Dunn, North Carolina and have lived in Raleigh since 1983. I have drawn and painted most of my life. Since 1980, I was a stay-at-home mom of three sons, doing commissioned portraits in my "spare" time. Our nest became officially empty in 2005. We built a studio addition onto our home, and I have been painting full-time since early 2007. Most of my work is done in oil, but I also work in acrylic, watercolor and colored pencil. I am also available for pet, family, and wedding portraits.
I sign my paintings with my maiden name, Ciccone, to honor my father, John Ciccone. He was a talented artist and musician who did not have the opportunity to work at his art full-time.
I strive to use my God-given ability to celebrate life and the uniqueness of each person, creature or scene that I paint.
